Here we are on paradise island! And yes, Bora-Bora is as nice as it sounds!

Surely it is more touristy with a few more hotels, but still much less than we expected, plus all buildings very much blend into Bora-Boras beautiful landscape.

French Polynesia consists of overall 116 islands- mostly of volcanic nature. With Bora-Bora, we have visited six of them. Of what we have seen, all appear similar in the first place, but still each one of the islands has a certain different look & feel to it- at least for us (..which might be, as everything, very subjective).

Today we went on a fantastic boat trip around the island, swam with blacktip reef sharks and huge manta-rays! It was incredible. Florian became really friends with the manta-rays while feeding them fish..
